Here are the answers to the most frequently asked questions that we get asked about our fun and exciting plaques.

As all our items are handmade to order, we require 10 days from approval of artwork to dispatch your plaque. Delivery is by first class Royal Mail, and you will always receive an email with the great news that your plaque’s on its way.
If you let us know at the time of ordering of a more urgent deadline, we will do everything we can to speed things up so that your plaque can get to its destination in time. Just give us a call and let us know.
You can pay by credit card, debit card or Paypal on our website. Proceed through PayPal until you reach the ‘pay by card’ option. If you encounter any problems at all, just give us a call.
All our plaques are handmade and therefore we can be flexible. If you’d like Mirror Mirror in pink, yes we can do it. Some of our designs do look their best in the colour we’ve chosen (I don’t think a Chelsea fan would take kindly to a football plaque designed in red…). But general rule of thumb is if you see something you like but want a slight alteration, just give us a call and we’ll do our best to accommodate your wishes.
Yes – at Fun Blue Plaques we love the quirky little messages that give our plaques their character. Just give us a call and tell us a bit about the future plaque-ee and what they mean to you, and we’ll help you come up with the words.
Our Blue Plaques are really decorative accessories for inside the home. Due to the materials used to make them they are delicate little souls, and can be adversely affected by the elements. So keep them inside, where they can be enjoyed by their owners morning, noon and night!
Our plaques are slightly larger than a CD, 125mm diameter. If we feel that your requested message is too long and will make the plaque look less beautiful, we’ll let you know. Or if you aren’t sure, give us a call and we can help.
As our plaques make such wonderful gifts, they are all automatically packaged beautifully in our jolly London packaging. If you need the plaque to be sent to an alternative address, please give us a call and we’ll be delighted to help.
